I didn't bother to weigh them as I didn't have a concern with weight but I'm sure Don or one of his rep's at RPI can answer that for you. I can say they are lite and they are fiberglass.

Sorry, one more question...I just watched the install video and heard him say to be careful to not over tighten them "because you're only screwing into plastic". Are these made out of fiberglass or plastic?

Thanks
Hello,
To answer your questions.
I could not find a set that was not boxed up to ship. But the shipping weight of the skirts is 14 lbs.

The skirts are made of fiberglass but the rocker panel you are screwing them into is made of plastic.

If you have any other questions please feel free to ask.

Phil

Got the car out for a short drive. It was a little difficult getting in and out but hey, we did it.
Thought I'd post a few more pics as I walk from this thread, saying again, if you're looking for skirts the RPI design is one for serious consideration!

For the look, money, ease of install, communications when needed, style enhancement, you can't beat these side skirts.

6th Generation Camaro ZL1 Inspired Side Rockers Skirts At RPI Designs

You're welcome and I probably shouldn't have been but I couldn't resist. Been so long in the car took me the longest to figure how to dial up the heat.
BTW I'm still considering your rear spoiler in blue velvet metallic to finish off my exterior look.

Looks awesome! Just be sure to tell your passengers to be careful, especially if you have you a female with high heels on. I've seen so many C6's with CF side skirts damaged from that.

Thanks LesBaer! None issue on entry. My wife knows how particular I am and I usually assist her getting in and out, and though I don't ride passengers, anyone getting in would be told to watch their step in clearing the threshold.
I plan to have mine covered in Xpel soon as I did my front splitter.

They look great in black and really look like factory options If you could find an LT to swap your deck lid with, a black blade spoiler would tie it all together really well.

See, I don't care for the factory blade spoiler and looking at replacing it with something, which there are only two options available out there as far as I'm concerned.
My mind is struggling with blue velvet or gloss black. My mind keeps saying keep everything above blue, then hindsight keeps saying black will look like it's out of place. I'd hate to get either color and have to get it painted over to ease the conscience.
