Yup, alls stock still no intake or anything.

Swear I wish I had that kinda commute!!!!

But carbon shouldn't be in there. Like soot really. You'll only get that on the back of the valves where it's hot enough to to more or less dry it out. Will take some pics when I finally get around to plumbing it.

first impression:

full evacuation vacuum on crankcase feels like has increased power.

I'd be quite weary about any actual (non placebo effect) change in power as it may indicate unmetered air loss/increase and that's never good.

You've always had full vacuum, it's just now with less blowback entering the intake/tb, more air.

Remember, what's being caught is what used to be ingested. If it's now being caught, gives room for more of the good stuff to enter.

What is the story about the oil fill cap there?

Edit,. Way more hoses than I expected there. Look forward to the explanation

Is the original hose for the clean side capped ? It looks like the clean side elite thing just connects the oil filter directly to where the clean side connector used to plug into the air bridge.

I need to do some post production video shooting because it was rainy yesterday. I will try try try to post a video on Sunday night.

In the first link in the first message of this thread, Elite explains the hose routing if you want to study up beforehand.

They also mentioned a lot of vacuum line tapping. But I don't see that in your pics.

Check the picture of the engine with cover off. Right in the center of the engine is a brass barb with a hose running to catch can to create vacuum. That was drilled and tapped.
