I think I need one... I can't seem to find a .50BMG pistol that is even remotely concealable without a trench coat...

That is very, very cool!!!

On a very related note, I had a friend who had a 12ga pump with pistol grips on the pump and for the stock (no real stock). After firing a few rounds through it, my wrists felt like they'd been in a car wreck! I can't imagine what that would feel like if you tried to fire it one handed.

My buddy back in WA has a 45-70 derringer that he asked me if I would like to try firing. I politely declined but now wish I had. It was similar to this one.

I've seen this mentioned many times across many gun boards but no one has ever produced an actual case where a good shoot led to jail time because the person used a modified gun or hand loaded ammo.

Still, it's better to be safe than sorry but I think it's more FUD than truth.

I would agree with this. I shot a 12 gauge mossberg 500 with pistol grip and it was hell on my wrists one handed. It stung my hand every time I fired it.

That is one good conversational piece though. The .45-70 derringer I bet is blast to shoot too.

I'll try a glock 19 and see how I like it.

Excellent points about having an always ready kind of gun.

Did you get a package deal on this? Just curious as I have been thinking of getting the same for the AR. Cheapest I have seen for the combo was $333 on amazon.

Purchased this one two days ago. Gotta wait till next Saturday to pick it up though cause of stupid MD laws... I'm just glad I found one.

Nice SIG. Can you run a can in Maryland?

Not up on the east coast state, gun laws.

Bought a 320 compact in .357 sig last year, very happy with it. Been a fan of the .357 round for some time. Quite a step up in power, yet still easy to control.
