Every car looks great in black. Every single one. But im not falling for it this time.
Id rather drive my car than wash it every day. And im too anal to let it look dirty all the time. I have to do it by hand with two buckets to not scratch it. Not gonna miss doing that ALL THE TIME. |

I've only had black cars all of my life, but for my upcoming Gen6 purchase I am seriously considering going with something different...WHITE! Never thought I would even consider this lol.

My only black car was an 89 IROC, it was beautiful but when i traded it on a new Z back in 93 i said "never ever again" for good reason. It was a pain to keep clean also black cars just seem to attract heat more. When clean, however, they are among the best looking.

Well i blame the Army for my back pain, but yeah. I never used microfiber towels back in the day so guess that didn't help with the swirls much.

Black does look great on clean cars. I like the black on my Syclone but it stays in the garage and doesn't get dirty. I've had other black vehicles too but not sure if I will get another. Hard to keep clean.

I just moved into a new house with a garage that is BEGGING for a black Gen6. The car would be garaged when not in use, but even with this i know it is going to be a chore dodging puddles and keeping it clean. That black car trap is just soo tempting. There is something seriously appealing about a clean black car on a sunny day.
I figured white would show dust/dirt as well, but could anyone give any insight if you have had both a black and a white car? |
