I never said or insinuated someone doesn't have balls. I just stated my take on my situation.

Just depends. In my household and in all of my colleagues households, we are the sole earners. Having said that, none of us has to ask them for shit generally speaking.

My wife works and does well. We just don't question each other's purchases. The only thing in both of our names is our house.

Lol! That is actually funny. No fortunately it isn’ the case for me. My ZLE isn’t my daily so I definitely felt more of a responsibility to at least have a discussion before just bringing it home. I will say she did fight me on it because to another members post about it looking like a hot wheels car, she agreed. She wanted me to get something else because of the aero. Ultimately she didn’t really care but given a preference she would have chosen another car.

Same here for my wife and I. She has her purchases and I have mine. We only share the mortgage. Not a bad way to live. She actually wanted me to get the car months earlier then when I actually did. I thought I was trying to be the responsible one by holding off a little while longer. Although, she was not a fan of my idea of possibly trading the car in on a 1LE. So what if I've only had it for like 5 months. lol.

I may be different, but I bought a ZL1 and will really only wind up driving her (Stephanie), about 1200km per yr. A lot of money to fork out for little mileage, but this was a long haul purchase. She’s my second Sunday car and splitting these km between two beauties is a tough choice every time I get in the garage!

This isn’t my first or second Camaro, and I have always had a loyalty to this model... I won’t be selling Stephanie until one of my kids earns her by showing her the respect such a machine deserves. At that point the bill of sale will read $1.00 (but a hard earned dollar at that!)

BTW: I ran the purchase by my wife before pulling the trigger not because I had to, but as a matter of respect. After all, she’s my partner, not my property!

Respect the partner

Yes, I also respect my partner and their opinions, in the matter of my GT, there was criticism. So after 3 years of nagging, I bought a "shop truck" for my business & my partner enjoys it 2013 F-150 3.5L ecoboost w/3.31:1 gear, LoL!

I've contemplated selling mine. I'm on the fence. I want to play with something else, but I already have too many cars at my house and the garage is full, its getting out of control and something has to go before something new comes in. I mentioned thinking about selling the ZL1 to my fiance and she was the one that has been fighting for me to keep it. Anyway the car is amazing, and in a perfect world i'd keep it forever. But there are so many other cars out there that I'd love to own too.

Just my assumption though, everyone has different circumstances.

I can relate. They have half the money an all the $ussy. My ordered ZLE is still sitting at the dealer. I routinely spend 3 times that amount on heavy equipment purchases. She flipped the $uck out when I went to pick it up. Is it worth half of everything you have.....that typically is the decision to be made when she says no.

I didn't ask my wife. I love the car and it's done exactly what I wanted it to do. A pretty Bad Azz! Congratulations on the "Cancer free". God, the Doctor's and I put it i it's place about 5 years ago now. Keeping mine! Life is short. Go for it! In the end we only regret what we didn't do.

1) If price is not an issue then ZL1 over SS
2) At this price point remember not everyone drives their cars till the wheels drop off (I'm in that category). A lot of buyers can afford to buy cars and then trade them in when the novelty wears off.
3) I have ZL1-1LE and have no regrets - I just wish I could drive it all year round
