Bought what I might consider a dream car - 2020 Camaro 1SS 1LE

Last night I was able to trade my like new 16 Honda Goldwing and my 45k mile bolt on white 17 1SS Camaro 6M for what I consider a dream car of mine, a 2020 Camaro SS 1LE. Granted I like the 17-18 better, but I do like the little changes so I didn’t feel I bought the same car.
The first dealer drug his feet with me for 3 weeks and claimed he couldn’t get a number on my bike. I made one call to the store I bought it from, Sport Cycles, and got a fair number. Then they offered me below black book average for my car. And they wonder why Mustangs sell. I tried one more time with Everett Chevy in Morganton NC, three hours away, and after two days of a few texts and emails, I worked out a great deal on a rally green metallic 2020 with PDR and the trunk mat. Drove it home last night and couldn’t be happier. Looking forward to a couple of track days this year once we get through this virus to feel the difference. Honestly, the standard SS was quite capable, especially for a novice like me who averages one visit a year over the last 6 years. I have always been a white/pewter Camaro:Firebird lover. I really wanted garnet red, but none close enough and many dealers would be reluctant on the bike portion. Props to Jordan Bowman at Everett Chevy. They also had an orange one equipped identically. Better pics this week. Love the HUD!! The color looks very different in different lighting.

Gotta start saving for another Pray Tune. Not sure if I’m gonna do headers again as I don’t love that high pitched clapping rasp sound. I did pull off my Rotofab. Possibly do another ported ZR1 TB, ported intake or MSD, and E85. What a difference that extra 50 whp made on my 17.

I’m sure they would. I just didn’t want orange. Jordan was cool and the place redefines small town laid back. The driving part could be interesting.

I'm living at work and have the "essential" tag. I'd prolly get it delivered since I'm in IN, lol. Really do not want to travel in this crap with all the stupid people I'm been observing.....

I too have the essential status as a service advisor at a new car dealership. Pretty funny. At least I am still getting paid something, although if they closed, unemployment would probably pay more. We shall see.

Congratulations. That’s a great colour. Beautiful car.
I also bought my dream car last year. First time I ever walked in and ordered a new car. It was great. I ordered a brand new ZL1 1LE. What a tremendous feeling. Especially the day it arrived and I went to look at it. Wow. I never ever thought I would see that day in my life. Sometimes we get lucky I guess.

Yea and I traded a 2017 Camaro SS!! My only real beef with these is the falling in and climbing out. I can fit my 5 piece drumset and all my hardware in it too.

Congratulations! My 1LE is Red Hot, but I absolutely love Rally Green.

If your finances allow and you intend to keep this Camaro long-term, you should have X-Pel Ultimate applied to the bumper cover, hood, fenders, and rocker panels.

Nice car, but no offense "1LE" is not a model, it is an "option package"... You can have a "2LT 1LE (4 Cylinder)" or you can have a "2SS 1LE" or you can have a "ZL1 1LE" and they are all VERY different cars...
