1le hood wrap pealing

hi guys, so this is my 2019 camaro 1le, took delivery 6/6/19
car was stored all winter and just taken out a few weeks ago.
I noticed the wrap around the hood vent is starting to come up,
what should I do? car only has 3400k on it.

I would have it replaced under warranty. If your local dealership does not have a bodyshop, I'm assuming they will contract the replacement of the hood wrap.

my 18 is doing the same thing. i decided to have the hood wrapped local but can’t decide what i want yet. not the factory matte, i know that much. if it were a firebird id have the flaming chicken on it in a heartbeat. car is black so pretty much any other color(s) will be ok.

Mine is peeling as well. Brought my car back to east hills Chevy in douglaston and was told that it would be covered under warranty. Only thing I didn’t like is they said that they would send it off to a body shop to have it done. I’m thinking of just paying the couple hundred bucks and having it done right.

I've got the same issue in the same location on the hood. I let mine sit out in the sun one day and was able to push the wrinkles out for the most part. It's not a permanent fix but I have not seen the wrinkles return and it should last until I get the hood re-wrapped in a satin vinyl and ditch the matte finish.

Take that crap off. I don’t know what GM is using now, but it’s not as good as the premium wrap from a hi-end installer tint/wrap shop. Either get it replaced or run without it. And replace it with satin versus Matte, a lot easier to take care of In long run.

Taking it in tomorrow just to see what that say
But I have noticed it’s pretty difficult to maintain.

Had mine replaced right after I bought it under warranty. They always seem to peel and bunch up around the hood vents. Dealer replaced and then I had my Suntek wrap put over top of it.
