Does anyone know if the following will not only fit but not mess with stabilitrak etc?

275/40/20 on 20 x 10 +23 Fronts
305/35/20 on 20 x 11 +43 Rears

Thanks

I don’t know why ppl go with these sizes. The front is taller than the back and since the beginning of history that has been a bad idea. Plus it look strange.

Why not 285/30 and 305/30? This is stock on the ZL1 and works out great

I don't think a 275/40/20 will fit under the magride spring perch.

No the front will be taller then the rear. You will want to run 315/35/20 in the rear then they will be the same height @ 28.7". Or you could do 275/35/20 and 305/35/30, the rears will be a little taller but within range so it doesn't cause any TCS or Stabilitrak issues. A little taller rear looks better imo.

275 40 20 rubs on the front fender liner in the footwell area when the wheels are turned left or right. There is no way to clearance this area

What are good tire options for the factory ss wheels, 245/40/20 and 275/35/20? I wanted to get something like the MT ET Street SS maybe? I make just north of 700whp

King and I both run the Nitto NT555R in 305/35/20 on the stock SS rear tires with Whipple blowers. I think they are better on the street than MT’s in my humble opinion. You could run the standard NT555 on the front if you want them to “match”.

@joshinator99, , what size would I have to use for the front if I took your recommendation for the rears?

I'm currently running the stock run flats in the front (245/40/20). But you could easily go a little bigger if you wanted to.

The stock SS setup is also taller in the front (27.7" vs 27.6"), just saying.

OP, have you already bought these tires, or just some 1LE wheels and are currently looking for the best tire sizes? 275/40 will almost certainly hit the spring perch, you can try to avoid that with spacers, but first, what are your actual goals? More traction, better cornering, more sidewall for a smoother ride, better looks, or...?

Next year I will look into buying some weld wheels for the drag strip. Possibly even another set of wheels and tires for the street, something smaller then the factory 20's. I think for this year I just want to see the following on the factory SS wheels, non 1le.

A. Whats the biggest tire I can fit on the factory wheels, both front and rear even if i have to do the harness relocation in the back.

B. I believe you have to keep the front and rear tire sizes within a certain height difference from each other? .5" maybe? Can this be changed using hptuners?

C. My goal would be to have tires that handle well on the factory wheels, definitely wider that I can still do a roll on someone if needed.

Thanks
