Weight in different styles?

Are the M228's heavier than the M017's or the FS01's?

Also, for those who put their stock 275's up front, what did you use for rear tires? One shop rec'd 315-35-20's, but I thought they would rub?

Also, anyone know the respective weight difference between the MRR and HRE wheels (I know the price difference :-()

The M228 is a low pressure cast wheel so it is a bit heavier then the M017 that is correct.

Now you can use your 275 on the front of these wheels, but for the rear I do not recommend a 315 as it can rub unless you do some adjustments, so my recommendation is a 300 tire.

As for exact weights I would need to know the 2 models to get you the weights on the wheels.

Thanks for asking

It was phanstastic !!! 1600 miles in a 2015 Camaro V6 Convertible on the west coast and 800 miles in an brand new Audi 2,0 T Quattro on the east coast. Your country is soooo beautiful. I liked the tripto California most. Highway 1 is so beautiful, 17 mile drive near Carmel and Monterey is breathtaking !!! It was so nice from Carlos at MRR to show us arround in the company explaining everything they do when we were in Los Angeles. Saw the Blue Angels at the fleet week in San Francisco, whales and dolphins in the pacific ocean..... unbelievable. Had a nice wedding in Fredericksburg / Virginia and two days in NYC. Could do it again right now....
