19 ZL1 Crush and Black theme is done! Visual happiness

Finally got all the mods done I was looking to accomplish for visuals. Now she just needs a Reload on the CQuartz after a good washing.

- Front OEM ZL1 1LE Upper (badge deleted) and Lower Grilles - Mosaic Black Metallic Paint Matched

- Mosaic Black Metallic Paint Matched OEM Mirror Housings

- Mosaic Black Metallic Paint Matched OEM Spoiler

- Full badge delete outside

- 3M Full Tint at 32%

- APEC ARC-8 19x10 and 19x11 Wheels in Matte Black

- Custom 3" Mandrel Bent, Resonated Muffler Delete from the mid-pipe to the OEM tips, w/Full Black Cerakote Ceramic Coating

- Smoked Rear Reflectors

So much fun to drive. Of note, I also did the foam wedge trick in the rear deck and firmly located the module in the rear deck to eliminate all the rattle in the rear deck area. Sounds SO much better, took about 5 min to do.

Awesome looks great even though to me removing the ZL1 badge is a sin.

Looks super smooth though killer job

Thank you! Likely going to get some paint matched Mosaic Black Metallic emblems and put them on the hood for a stealthy note.

In the trunk if you look up at the rear deck, two things to fix:

1. There is a black module with little gripper tabs on it coming down into the rear deck from above. They tend to pop loose and rattle. Simply reach up through the hole in the deck (big oval, impossible to miss) and pull it down to snap in place. I used a bit of Noico/Dynamat stuff to hold the clips permanently in place so they cant come loose again. Easy as pie.

2. There are two holes, one round and one oval in the decklid. The rattle comes from the rear plastic panel covering the deck rattling on stuff in the deck itself. I measured the gap between the metal deck and that plastic piece (about a fingertip to my knuckle), added about a quarter inch and I cut heavy duty foam to that size. I wedged it between the metal and the plastic decklid cover above and voila, literally not a peep anymore (despite a muffler delete with mini-resonators and a crimp delete on the exhaust).

Thank you for this info. I did find the module you mentioned and mine was partially loose. I pushed down then wiggled it a bit only to find it pop back out. I put a piece of a high density wedge foam I had between it and the deck lid to hold it in place. I think that is what you were talking about.
Thank you
Mizer

It looks phenomenal! How much work was it to fit the 1LE grilles and do they fit without any issues?

Looks great. I know they're more focused on being functional, but to me the tires/wheels look a little small but that's nitpicking. Would be curious to hear how it sounds with the delete as well.
