When the failure happened, was AFM still active on the car/truck or was it tuned out?

Oh yeah on the cop thing! It was around midnight once, I pulled out from a stop sign, dropped the hammer and lit one tire up on my s10. Dang cop was backed over in the corner beside a closed down gino's. He seen the whole thing, cost me 6 points on my drivers license and $150 fine.

was 5.3 in my Silverado. not tuned out. lost 2 oil senders first, sure sign of things to come! the whole system was clogged up. but didn't ruin the engine. parts were replaced up top. one of many reasons I no longer have that truck and the AFM\DOD!
