Unhappy ISO: LS3 short block

Dropped a lifter in my LS3, so I’m looking for a replacement. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I would just replace the lifter set. Especially if nothing else is hurt.

Too much metal passed through it. I could just hot tank the block and repair the damage the lifter did to the block itself (resleeve it, I guess) but I’d rather replace the short block and slowly fix the damaged block over the next couple of months.

May need to try that, although it looks like I may have found an LS3 short block for $2K

I would say just go aftermarket short block. You can reuse almost everything from your current engine. Order from TSP or Thompson motorsports.

I went through the same thing bro ls9 to ls3 shortblock conversion. Found the short block for 1800. If you can geta real ls3 short block do it definately feel the loss of hp from the different heads prayers
