Good that it appears to be working for your application... Just curious if you had went with the "non-mirror" version would it have been even less intrusive into the "through the screen" rearward view thats seen in the rear view mirror? Hope the weather clears for you to take a test drive soon too.

With out the recess the view would be less obstructed. But it really is not an issue with my driving position. I prefer the look of the recess in the middle from the exterior, it flows very well with the reverse mohawk of the tonneau and trunk.
Had the opportunity to take a top down drive with the wife tonight for dinner at the horse track / casino for our 21st anniversary (on the 21st) for a very enjoyable drive and evening.

I wonder if either one will fit wit seat all the back and heavily tilted. I’m 6’5” and I like laying back a bit....it looks like both versions are way back...a.m. I right?

Seat all the way back and all the way down, with seat back at almost 60 °

The GM windscreen does not tilt forward like the Aperta one. It is more or less straight up and down and would provide a little more space to recline the seat, if the seat in mstgeer's pic is not fully reclined.

I do not believe the seat was fully reclined in the photo, but it was enough that it would not be a comfortable driving position, IMHO. If you were inclined (pun intended) to do so, the hinges of the screen are stiff enough to keep it in what ever position one needed, or the "stop" could likely be adjusted (bent) to limit the forward tilt. My wife prefers it in the most tilted position, to minimize her hair do rearrangement .

GM wind deflector/windscreen with seat all the way back, all the way down and fully reclined (no mods to increase the recline).
