Revised #3

Didn’t like the Camaro covers on there, going back to no covers on side. I really think the coil relocation kit and different valve covers is the way to go.

Took mine to the strip this weekend.
Used several methods to launch this baby. With the Nitto G2 it was impossible.
Finally just left all nannies on and left off idle and the CPU still pulled it back noticably while trying to break loose at run a horrid 60ft at 1.95 and a 7.74.@ 96 MPH. With just a little traction she will be a 7.3 car.
Very impressed with the ported LT2 intake and headers , GPI tune.
You gonna need at least a good drag radial.

Looks awesome. How lean is it running now? What AFR numbers are you seeing pre-tune?

I had a factory tune before and idle was bouncing almost perfect around 14.7

Now with the extra intake volume and 95 TB I am bouncing around anywhere from above 15 to into the 17. It’s not correcting it’s self and I have triple checked for any vacuum leaks. So a tune is needed in my case.

Maybe I missed it in skimming the post but how is everyone sealing the 95mm TB to the IM once the snout is ported for the 95? Just black RTV?

The adapter plate I got just came with the O ring gasket for the adapter plate. I think that they think you have a 95 mm gasket already. The new LT5 throttle body I got did not come with one and the same with the new LT2 intake manifold did not come with a 87 mm gasket. Its always something to hunt down when one is trying something new.

yeah. mine came with the oring and paper gaskets both. i just got lucky as i didn't put any forethought into it.
