There jokers I just got home from the tuner he showed me 3 cars jrod built and he tuned I saw there files there iats were no better. He said possibly the low manifold temp was cool weather iced down intercooler cool start not up to temp yet or meth injection for cooling or fueling. Also he said he could play with that number make it what ever you wanted. Also out in the open gonna be better 90 degrees sitting on a dyno pass. So no! Not apple to apples.

The posts here are something of a Maggie fan club echo chamber.

Kong has told me several times that Maggie and Eddie 2650 power are very close. He dynos them both almost every day, ported and unported.

Regarding MAT, mine ran at 115F at 20,500 rpm in September and at 119F at 23,500 rpm yesterday. Both of these blower rpms (no ice) are far beyond what shops such as KaTech builds.

And I'm R&R my intercooler plumbing in February because the lines are undersized and will also do a better pump. It's my fault for not asking more questions of the shop that did the current work.

If they dyno the same, then why are 4 of the top 10 fastest Gen6 Camaros running Maggie’s? Why doesn’t Edelbrock have even 1 car in the top *20*, nevermind top 10?!? Bench racing is just that, at the track you find out what the real story is.

To a point they will be very close. As KingLT1 said, it’s when you are going for max effort that you’ll start seeing the differences. 1100+ RWHP I’d say (i.e. 24k RPM+).

Here is the list referenced. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...9Z1jdIRYU/edit

So 40 more hp I'd run into problems? Remember I'm with 8.3 and 3 inch glory pull 1067 1046 1047 back to back. The problem here is Noone has invested all the other stuff that goes on a car to make it fast like the maggi guys do the one guy that had a good run broke his car and went TT not maggi. If I cared about drag racing a smidgen I'd invest into any and all drag items just to shut them up. No other companies need to advertise like they do to sell units. The fact is I've caught them in lies several times.. lied 4 different occasions on a release date, lied about not needing port injection, told me that id have to have an interchiler to be anywhere near the maggi iats are.. and so on. Those are the sales tactics I talk about no one else does that to sale units.

You forget, Tim King did a Kong Edelbrock 2650 on his C7 Vette for the very same reason - “to shut people up” on Eddy vs Maggie. Guess what happened? He never trapped higher than 165 MPH at the same weight as me and did an ET in the 8.30’s. This is the same car that was a C7 record holder with TT’s prior to that build, so he knows what he’s doing. It just doesn’t have the capability to compete max effort vs max effort. I get you don’t drag race, but what about Dragy numbers? Anything at all relevant off the dyno in the real world?

Try to find somewhere safe so you can get the 100-150 too and take the tire variable out of it. I know of a few Maggie guys that have street Dragy numbers to compare it to.

You and I have kicked this around in the past. I've had the fastest car and I know how much it costs, not to mention motorhome and trailer and motorbike and golf cart etc.. I love my Gen 6 street car and I've taken it about as far as I'm willing to. I'm not sure which path I would take if I broke this short block..

Right. It’s not a life most want to live, even if they think they do. I really don’t think you can go wrong with either of these superchargers for most people. For the guys that want every bit of power they can get out of a PD blower (that very small % of people), there is an undeniable choice until we have more data on the Whipple’s or the X3100’s.

I want to see that 60 to 130 draggy and compare it to my last one. I’m also M6 H/c Maggy 2650. Let’s see If you can beat my time.

I'm running Toyo R888R too. Do you have any 1/4 miles times with them?
