Question Camaros in Large Groups - Yay or Nay? (The Mustang says NAY!)

Hey guys! So this happened to me this morning and I found it so entertaining that I wanted to share it with all of you.

I'm a member of the Oklahoma Camaro Club. There are something like 300 members and a lot of times we attend events together. There will be anywhere from 5 to 30 of us; you never know how many will turn up. Of course, we hang out together; park our cars by each other.

But we always go walk around separately and in small groups to look at everyone's cars... heck, I'm one of the most social people you'll meet at car shows. I talk to everyone.

But today, a friend posted some pics of a few of our members at a cruise-in in Tulsa, OK. I've blurred out names just for brevity's sake, but you guys can see what happened as soon as he posted the pics. A man who owns a Mustang immediately chimed in, then started saying groups of Camaros are cliquey, a mob mentality, unapproachable-- he said a lot. The pics say it all. Anyway, when I stepped in, he immediately attacked me.

So tell me-- do you hang out with groups of fellow Camaro owners? Do you think that makes us seem "unapproachable" or "cliquey"? Was this guy just a Mustang-owning, jelly hater?

Would love to see y'all's responses and how you would handle it. I stopped replying because there was just no point when he started insulting me.

Anyway, yeah, check out the pics below.

Groups of Camaro owners are intimidating? Is he 8 years old?

Maybe he's insecure about his car purchase, or simply needs to grow a pair.

Mustangs are no longer the only muscle car in town (so to speak) and the jealousy some of those guys are showing is really sad.

It's kinda like watching a kid who was an only child act out when the new baby comes home.

That's what happens at car shows people stick together, Just like when I take out the 57 the tri- five guys hang together. Everybody still mingles but that's just the way it is. He's probably just jealous you guys walking around with lots of friends and he has none.

What an asshole. Jesus that guy sucks.

You hang out with people of similar interests. Period. Yes you both like cars, thats why you are in the same parking lot at the same car show. You just park next to your friends because hey thats what friends do.

He acts like its never happened before. The mustang club around here is the snootiest club, and they have many shows that are just them. All the car shows around here the corvettes get there early and take a whole area just for them.

Same with vipers, ferraris, etc.

I find after reading this, this person feels the Mustang group that has had a monopoly on the "club grouping" at meets has come to an end, and they don't know how to properly handle the new kids. Here the mustang club is tight and turns out in great numbers but like your Camaro club are very approachable and friendly. After all, it's the love of the car that matters.

I wouldn't give two thoughts on the troll, he probably got kicked out of his mustang club anyways!!!!
