Then it was good you sold it, that was a bad car if it had the dimples front and rear.

Can't tell if you're being serious or not.

Why no close ups on the ones that don't have them? I can't tell on that one. Yours wouldn't be noticeable upside down from that distance either. Just kidding, don't be mad.

Or, if it does you can only see them when looking really closely at a perfect angle.

So, both cars shown in this thread W/O dimples are both RS (V6) cars.

Is there a p/n difference between the SS and RS/V6 models for the rear bumper?

May just be a coincidence, but, it's odd that the only two cars here seemingly w/o are both RS.

I was going to ask about NPP vs nonNPP, but the white one has NPP while the silver one does not -- so that's out.

Though, 2 cars isn't a large enough sample size to know if it's a V8 vs V6 bumper thing (even if that turns out to be the case).

Dont know why it posted the pic upside down, its not taken that way, and not on my screen that way, and its a large fill so you can enlarge the pic.

What's with the hate on OP? Mine has them too. And no, I'm not happy about it. Deal breaker? Absolutely not, but they are noticeable, and shouldn't be visible imo.

Same here buddy, To be honest after hearing people also had them on their cars and wasn't a isolated thing i was like cool not just me, but first time i seen it after i got the car home wasn't too big of a deal and thought maybe its just how its made for other plates to mount on or what not.

This is a injection mold mark, not a license plate mount mark. bad prep and paint is the issue. That's why some have it and some don't.

Chevrolet ... if you want to put mounting hole marks on your bumpers, go for it. It's not going to make me not buy the car, but at least put a little effort into the QC ... especially if it's a first year redesign.
