Spaceme1117, do you know the TSB number for the hard shifts between 1st and 2nd gears. Talked to service manager at local dealer today & he wasn't familiar with issue, just the shudder which his service dept corrected on my son's car. Told me to monitor and call if it continued. Said parts are hard to get right now. Son's car in only in warranty for 1 more month. Don't want to miss this if repair work is needed. Thanks.

Since the TSB came out August, 2020, wouldn't they have to fix even if car is out of 5 year/60K powertrain warranty? My son's car was purchased 9/30/17, and has less than 21k miles. Thanks much.

I talked to dealer service mgr and he said bring it by so they can look at before out of warranty 9/30. Said I would have to leave it and it might take a while. He said if software issue could be fixed in an hr or so. Thanks for info.

Usually a flush and a transmission reset will take care of the hard shifts. I know some of the A10's had valave body issues causing the hard shitft problem. I you have never had the flush done I highly reccomend you have it done so you do not cause damage to the torque convertor. Good luck
