Reinforced floor mats?
My crappy floor mats actually have worn a hole where my heels rest, with less than a year of use. Any recommendations for mats with reinforced pad sections? I had a set on my old BMW which were excellent.
I've heard good things about Lloyd's. Do they hold up better? Thanks!

I have Lloyd's mats and I like them a lot. I also have the rubber Camaro ones which I like a lot as well.
The stock mats are boring and cheap.

I'd go with Husky for rubber or Maxpider (Amazon) for a molded fabric-like mat. Lloyds look good for a conventional mat, have not tried them myself.
I have the Maxpider front and Husky for a trunk liner. Both are excellent. |

I do have the Maxpider ones for the winter which have held up well. Looking for mats for the other 3 seasons.

Lloyd’s are good. Get the thickest option which I believe has a lifetime warranty. Also vacuum your mats more often to remove the abrasive particles your heel is grinding into the mat.

I have a set of Lloyds, but have a cheap mat on top for daily use to take the brunt of the wear.

+1 for the Husky Liners. Fit is great and it keeps the carpeting underneath pristine!

I have the Husky Liners also. Easy to clean and really catches the dirt and liquids spills.

Maxpider has a reputation of the snaps that attach breaking. Look at reviews on Amazon. That is why I didn't order them.I went with Husky for the 1st for the Camaro after using Weathertech for a long time. I'm happy after only a few days of use. Plus forum member https://www.rdpstore.com/ gave me a good price.

Been using maxpider for years in 4 vehicles year around, no issues. They’re much better than my old weathertechs.

Big fan of 3D maxspyder mats. Blends in well and not squeeky rubbery stuff under foot.

Get the stock rubber ones. Cant go wrong with those heavy duty SOB's lol. I've had the same thing happen to Lloyd mats so its just the nature of them. I haven't tried the newish top of the line Lloyd mats but I did have a good quality set in my Charger that eventually wore a hole in the heel area.

Thinking about the cheap mat I have on top, it was in a '06 GTO for probably close to 100k, then in a C6 for 65k and now in the 1LE for over 10k and it doesn't look that bad.
