Try checking for updates within MyLink. The latest update I got (805.1, I think?) had a change log specifically talking about fixing communications errors between the head unit & the climate control system.

I've had the update for ~1.5 months and only seen that error again only once.

Mine was doing that, then about 2 months ago the radio display read: Update available when the car is parked. Or something to that effect, so when I got to work I hit the OK button and shut the car down, the display showed the download and install, even said I could leave the car and it would continue, but I wanted to watch the progression. It completed and it hasn't read Climate Off again.
