Hi Guys and Gals,
Picked up my A-10 Nightfall Gray Metallic ZL1 today but to my dismay had no build sheet. I guess the cleanup detail guy might have trashed it but was wondering did anyone find one in an out of the way place? Would like to have mine to laminate and frame with the window sticker.

Mine was ripped in half and shoved in the glove box. Just remember no one cares. The world is full of people who don't care about anything. The underside of my car was damaged in transit and I'm pissed now. There's no point telling people to be careful or not to throw things away. Nobody's listening

I am not so sure the build sheet comes with the car. Correct me if I'm wrong. My salesperson printed that out for me after the fact and she offered it up without me asking. The window sticker for sure needs to come with the car and that should not be destroyed.

I am extremely pleased with the outcome of my purchase and gm/dealership has gone above and beyond to take care of little issues. I felt the suspension had an issue like many others here, which is the sway bar end link being loose. They reviewed my whole suspension and didn't find anything. Not a problem, could be my paranoia and maybe me not understanding the car yet. I got damage on my charge Air cooler, took care of it under customer enthusiasm repair, delivered it to me today(next day). I have felt like my hood doesn't close and lock as smoothly as it should and today when I inspected the work after I drove off, I couldn't close the hood. Once I did, it locked with the hood very far below the bumper line. I have no doubt they will make it right. Like you said, some people don't care, even at the factory(I'm sure it's the latch not being adjusted properly or torqued down properly and sliding down) but at the end of the day, if the end provider makes it right, it is ok in my eyes. My 2 cents

The factory build sheet does come in the car. I told my sales guy that I would ding them on the survey if he let the PDI guy throw it away so he saved it for me. I told the dealer I got my 15 ZL1 from the same thing and he gave me the one they print off and told me they don't put the factory one in cars anymore. I bought the 17 from a different dealer.

Just curious, anyone have a photo of what the build sheet looks like? How is it different than the window sticker?

Al, good luck with your newest ZL1. And thanks for laminating the build sheet and window sticker. I bought Al's Red Hot 6 speed ZL1 back in March with 196 miles on it.

Also found one of the orange spacer dojiggies lying on my garage floor after I got home are they in the Springs can't find the other one.

It was the most pleasurable car buying experience I have had. For a long distance deal it worked out perfect. It's nice to work with someone who is honest in describing everything about the car. And yes we have also become friends and hope to continue it. Thanks again Al.

They come in the front springs during shipping. The dealer is supposed to remove them during PDI and put them in the trunk or glove box in case the owner ever needs them for loading the car on a trailer or flatbed.

Not a ZL1, but my dealership laminated the window sticker and build sheet and left them in the trunk, along with a box full of cleaners, waxes and leather conditioners. It was a pleasant surprise. There are decent dealers out there!

Just picked up my ZL1, does anyone know where the build sheet is in the car? Dealer said in the trunk but I could not find it. Thanks for the help
