I have a Stage 3+ Golf R (2015). While my Golf if quicker (because of the 500+ AWHP), it didn't handle nearly as well as the M2 Competition. Not even close.

The BMW interior was also better.

In any case, I think any car with a front license plate looks like a "beaver". With it removed, it looks a lot better. Still a bit pretentious and overdesigned, but better.

Wow, you really have different taste. Most think the current M4 (f82) is a good looking car, and this new 2021 as ugly. I can't say i like the pictures of this new M car, but i'm waiting to judge when i see one in person.

Regardless if you like the '19 and/or '20, the '16-'18 looks dated now.

Refresh is also way more aggressive, I would not buy the older pre-refresh myself.

The new look is better.
