Tips on keeping a black camaro SS clean?

I've got a 2017 SS camaro that's black on black and I love the way it looks it's the Best color scheme in my opinion. However, I can't back out of my driveway without it getting filthy and it drives me mad. I wash it every Sunday, but I was wondering what products some of you guys may use and any advice you all may have?

Look into a coating. With the coating, black is just like any other color, Without it, It requires a ton of work. Google cquartz and read about a coating.

Let me repeat that, because there will be 1000 posts coming up thAT black is hard to take care of.

NO MORE ...A COATING CHANGES THE GAME FOR A BLACK CAR.

For weekly cleaning, Learn to do a rinseless....see the link in my sig. use Carpro echo2 for the rinseless....1.5 oz in 3 gal of water.

Awesome color combo indeed, but you may have issues keeping it showroom worthy. I find when I Maguire clay kit it with ultimate wax it makes it easier to maintain with a waterless wipe down or a quick spray on hump day. Find a better way plz let me know.

Very close to black, I did a paint correction, polish, seal, glaze and wax on my car as soon as I got it, and this was all after the wash and clay bar. Once all this was done I had the Adams Ceramic Coating put on and the car repels everything. Rain or water just sheets off and it doesn't get that dusty anymore and when it does the ceramic boosting spray and a cloth does the trick. I use nothing but Adams products

I had two, a 12 and a 15. I paid a nice local shop to hand wax once a month. LOL

My Last car was Black, The ONLY way that I found to keep it clean was put it in a garage and COVER IT, And it STILL got dusty!!!! That's why this 1 is Hyper Blue!!!!LOL!!!! Black is REALLY NICE when Clean, but what a JOB it is to keep it that way.

A guy I work with his son does ceramic coating. He's got a permanent package that costs about 1700 bucks but it'll be worth it if dirt will fall off of it

I had a black car once. ONCE!. A 98 Chevy Impala SS. That thing is a boat!. Keeping it clean was also about the time I discovered my OCD.

Sounds like things have come a long ways though. The Ceramic coatings, etc. Im sure that helps a LOT!.

Things I discovered though that might still apply

1. Cannot wash it in even the slightest direct sunlight
2. Use the 2 bucket method with grit guards
3. Do not wipe down often (Creates angel hair scratches)

Black was so quick to swirl too.

I had a friend who only bought black cars. His car looked great and his secret was he didn't really try that hard to keep it clean. He'd wash it maybe once every 2 or 3 weeks. It was garage kept. I think the less you touch the paint the longer it stays pristine (No swirls).
