Hi everyone, since we've been getting such a great response to these brake lines that was made by SWZL11LE, we decided to sign up as a vendor to the forum to give back to this great community.

The ZL1 / ZL1 1LE and the SS 1LE are amazing drivers cars and have been praised by many big names in the automotive industry. The only downside to these incredible capable cars is the brake feel, and the lack of feedback from the brakes. This prompted the forum member SWZL11LE to have these incredible brake lines made for these platforms. You can see his original thread here

So what makes these lines special? These lines use a proprietary braiding material which is produced in Italy by a company who manufacture the most cutting edge braking products for some of the Formula 1 and the official supplier for all Formula 3 teams. The carbon fiber braiding used on these lines withstand an incredible 16,900 psi minimum burst pressure rate, while a typical stainless steel braided line made by a reputable manufacturer can stand 4,000psi minimum burst pressure rate.

What do all these numbers mean? While you are unlikely to burst your brake lines with the brake pedal pressure, these numbers translate into "direct" and "consistent" brake feel. One other advantage to note about these carbon braided brake lines over the steel lines are the fact that they do not bind like stainless lines, while they are extremely resistant to expanding from hydraulic pressure, they are flexible enough that you can tie a knot in the line and the lines will still function. This means no binding of the brake lines with suspension travel and steering movement, which is one of the biggest down sides of stainless steel brake lines.
