The only thing is that I saw the care required for such a finish and I started thinking to myself that if my paint job isn't going to be shiny then why do I have to wash it like I'm trying to get it to shine? It's a good concept, but it should require less maintenance as you're not cleaning it to a shine.

Thanks, I actually learned my lesson when I bought my SS Sedan back in 2016. They were just wrapping up orders and so I had to "settle" for the colors and the transmissions that were available. If I had been thinking ahead, I would've picked up a "Regal Peacock Green" with an M6. Instead I had to "settle" on an A6 in "Some like it hot red", which isn't a bad color, just wasn't my first choice. The green is below, and looks better in person. It's also a relatively rare color.

That would have been real nice, similar in situation to what we are going through too so I can see why you learned after that. I also like the 1 year Rally Green Camaro, looks amazing on the ZL1.

I am hoping they come out with a similar red to replace WC, they have always offered the Camaro in a color that shade but the new orange is growing on me too. We'll see. I have always liked grey, but these ZL1s deserve a color that pops as they just show those colors off so well.

What is the estimated time frame for the 2023 new and existing color choices? I am 59 years old and have owned a lot of different color vehicles over the years. So my 2023 new LT1 Camaro will probably be Riverside Blue based on what colors are staying and this threads prediction on new colors. I wanted Crush and missed the boat. I had a burnt orange Firebird in high school and had black, white, reds, and silvers but I want mine to look like a 60's muscle car camaro so I am thinking Blue with the base wheels and 6 speed manual with NPP and technology package.

I feel kind of weird taking pictures of other people without their consent (if you mean the Lamborghini) but I'd say it looked like this.

If 2023 or 2024 is the last year for the ICE Camaro - I will be leaning towards the Metallic Orange 2SS...I have the 2020 Orange and am missing the pop of the metallic look like I had on my 2010 IOM...we will see what is out there when the time comes....

I'm with you man. With Wild Cherry no longer offered, that orange may be my color. As you say, we'll see.

If I had to guess, the new Red will be code GNT, internally named Radian Red Tintcoat. There's also a new gray, code GXD, internally named Sharkskin Metallic. These two colors are coming for another Chevy model that also lost Wild Cherry and Satin Steel.

Almost no chance the Corvette colors make it to Camaro. Especially Caffeine.

I don’t understand why GM is so stuck on the same palette of colors. Dodge will give you every color under the sun, but the best Camaro colors have been 1-2 year deals:

Synergy green
Bright yellow
Crush orange
Rally green

Only hyper blue metallic stuck around for more than 2 years, everything else is white/gray/black/burgundy.

I had a RG SS1LE, regret selling it sometimes..but in anything other than direct sunlight it was a painfully dark green.

Theres a guy in my neighborhood with an RG LT1 and I love it. Even parked in the shade I think it looks good. Since RG is probably not a reality I'm likely going to get another Riverside Blue. Id love to see the Elkhart Blue from the Corvette on the Camaro palette but that also seems unlikely.

We will know before 4/28. That's when 2023 orders open up.
