You're driving the worst possible thing for MPG. Cold start, short trips, slow slow stop and go traffic lights.
I get 11-12 in those conditions too. I set CC@70 on the freeway and get 29-33 consistently. V8 auto. For comparison my old 2007 4cyl civic would get 23-25 in the same city conditions, and 32-35 with CC@70 freeway. |

I have only had my 2SS for less than a week and have not logged a lot of miles yet (less than 50 - waiting to get my all weather tires).
I was worried when I looked at the AVG MPG and it was like 8 but last night I took a short trip (less than 20 miles) that was all city, stop and go and tried driving like a normal person (lol), not like a granny but just normal and I averaged just under 25 mpg. I paid attention to when it was changing to 4 cylinders (and it won't change much if your foot is always into the gas peddle, but if you can go at a steady pace for a bit then you will see the excellent MPG that your getting). Maybe just spend some time testing like this to understand when you can get good MPG vs. when you don't. Not sure how often i'll be able to keep from having a heavy foot, but at least no I understand that I can get good MPG if I choose to (or do a lot of freeway driving). |

That's odd! When I drive mine around I usually get somewhere between 17-22 MPG. I reset my trip computer every time I go to the gas station
