Whats the difference between Kooks 1 7/8 headers and 2inch? Which should I get?

A little more breathing on the exhaust side. Some reports of difficulty fitting the 2 inch LTs, although the 2 inch ARH LTs I run installed without a hitch and clearance is fine. I’d suspect a quality header like Kooks would be no different. I think the difference between the two depends on the extent of what other mods you are planning. If you spin the supercharger faster or install a larger blower, of if you open things up on the intake side, you will want the larger LTs.

On a simple bolt on car you should be fine with 1 7/8ths. If doing more like ported SC or bigger SC, cam, meth... then go with 2” for the room to grow. Price difference is about $100 maybe. I say go with the 2”

It's sort of a pain but not terrible. I'd check out the new headers from CSP, there's a thread in the bolt-on section that includes a video showing how easy the headers slip in from the bottom. I can guarantee you that no other header goes in that easy on the passenger side

1 7/8 TSP no problems here making 1000 plus. I'd do 1 7/8 unless you going for records and enjoy the extra clearance(steering shaft, plug wires, and spacing between starter)..

1 7/8 ARH headers on mine... mods in signature.
Fitment was the selling point. No need for 2" headers below 1K horsepower.

I'd do the TSP headers, they got the bugs worked out now.
