Flashing Hi Beams

It is impossible to rapid flash your hi beams with this car. Sometimes you want to get another driver's attention by flicking your hi beams on and off over and over rapidly but this switchgear will not allow it. I've never had any car that works this way.

I'm assuming everyone's car is the same as mine. This takes away what could be considered a safety feature when you're warning someone they're about to cut into your path of travel.

Camaro has bi-xenon headlights. That means, the same projector operates as your low and hi-beam. There is a mechanical shutter inside each projector that actuates this function. Unfortunately there is a slight delay the operation, compared to a vehicle with two independent light bulbs and/or filaments.

So the answer is no.

If you don't pull completely on the lever, you can activate the high beam without "locking" it on the high beam. You are then able to flash it kinda quickly. But know that these lights, as mentioned above, are not made to do that, so it might not be good to do it too much.

One or two clicks of flashing the high beams should be sufficient.

If you weren’t able to grab their attention by doing that, I highly doubt that having the ability to click it slightly faster is going to make a difference.

I agree, most people don't even look anywhere else than their phone while driving.

I often get "bright lighted" by approaching cars, who evidently think I have on my brights, when I do not. I flick on my brights to show them, and they turn their brights off.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Maybe my lamps are not angled properly?

I've had bi-xenon lights on my Audi S5 and I could rapidly flick my hi-beams on and off. That is not the reason here. There is a built in delay that, based on my experience, is not present on other bi-xenon equipped vehicles.

This doesn't work? Pull the lever instead of push.

Flash-to-Pass
The flash-to-pass feature works with
the low beams or Daytime Running
Lamps (DRL) on or off.
To flash the high beams, pull the
turn signal lever all the way toward
you, then release it.

Strange because I never had a problem flashing the high beams either

In most states it's illegal to flash your brights at cars anyway. Unless it on track.
