0-60 Manual 6-Speed
So just tried yesterday to launch yesterday using the in-dash 0-60mph timer...
Tried three times in Sport mode, TC on, best was 4.0sec, getting bogged down Today in Sport mode, pressed TC button twice to go into competitive mode... 1st try lit the tires... 2nd try to 2500 rpm and gentle clutch transition... 3.8 on a slight uphill Am excited, there is potential for getting a little better too ... Car has around 1500 mi |

Take PDR times and throw them out the window! My A10 told me I ran a 2.70 tonight!

2.70 0-60?! Man I need to go fill up at the gas station you use! Best i've done in my camaro ss is 4.4, but anytime I tried using launch control all it does is roast the tires like crazy so that's me messing with different RPM launches. The z06 with the auto is so much easier to launch and the launch control actually works, i've gotten 3.0 consistently in it.

Don't know what's up with your times. I don't have PDR, but I've gotten times right in line with GM's claims when I use the instrument cluster 0-60 timer. 3.8 seems reasonable for the m6.

I have tried this multiple times with my 17 ZL1 M6. The key is finding the sweet spot somewhere between bogging down and spinning the tires. 3.7 is the best I have done with the M6. Keep in mind this was done on a country road with semi cold tires. I have no doubt these published times for ALL the manufacturers are done on optimal conditions including surface, temperature, tire pressure, etc.

After many attempts, 3.7 is the best I can get. Dead flat surface, all nannies off in track mode, rev to 2500 and dump the clutch (but not too fast) and find that sweet spot to not bog the engine yet not smoke the rear tires, and damn is this hard to do just perfectly.
