Xpel paint protection sealant

has anyone used this stuff yet? its on xpels wesbite. just ordered it. helps keep the film like new. xpel actually does not recommend any other coatings but it will not void warranty. i wanted to use opticoat or cquartz but maybe ill just stick with a high end spray wax...

My installer said just to use whatever wax I preferred. No need for anything else according to him.

I ordered it, but, I have not used it yet. I found that the liquid black turtle wax with high end microfiber cloths hides all the swirls on my black car and makes the XPEL look fantastic.

So Xpel to protect the paint, and this to protect the film, what protects the protection's protection?

Shit I think i'm going to come up with an idea now. Protector's Protection for your Protection on the thing you have applied the protections protector on. Might retire early on this idea of yours. I'm curious if it's anything different than just a wax/sealant.

Correct, it's a simple poly sealant, you can use anything on XPEL as long as it's not abrasive. Easiest is a clear sealant like ultima paint guard or blackfire Crystal seal.

I used what Xpel sells on my 5th gen. It worked great. Easy on and easy off. The film always beaded water when washing. Probably did their product 2-3 times per year.
