No one has mentioned interior quality yet. The GTR is notoriously cheap inside.

Same here. Had a '15 GTR for 9 months. It was the most fun boring car I've ever owned. Looking back, I miss it, but then again I don't. It was a weird car to own. But, it has NOTHING on the Z06. So, what does that tell ya. I'd go Zl1 tho.

GTRs running 7s and 8s on the strip, Its a tough decision, I think I'd stick with the ZL1. GTR would prob be the only asian manufactured car I would be interested in.
New supra just doesnt do it for me.

^$150k builds dude. Slow down. haha. I'm sure he was comparing stock for stock. We all know the GTR platform can't be played with. If you have the coin to build it. As a daily, man, still tough call. I'd still have to go with that Lt4. He'll get bored of that GTR quick.

GTR cause you see a million camaros on the street all the time. GTR is more unique and put 5-6k and go fbo and run low 10's. launch control is amazing and destroys anything on the streets from a dig. I'd rather be in a car that looks cooler and not many on the road then just be a guy with a camaro even if it's a new zl1.

The GTR with AWD is no joke, but looks cooler? Yeah, if you think Japanese origami for a design theme on a sports car is pretty cool. The ZL1 looks like a styling masterpiece compared to one of those.

Haven't even driven a ZL1 yet, but I did have a C7 Z06 vert for a while. I bought my 2014 GTR brand new and went FBO on it. Even though I haven't driven the ZL1, I imagine I would like them both the same in driving, I would miss the AWD, punch it whenever you like, aspect of the GTR. The interior of the GTR is crap for what you get. I also miss a sunroof option. To really enjoy it, you will have to put another $15,000 ish in the GTR to go FBO and E85 to be truly as enjoyable as the ZL1 probably will be.

Seems like a resounding vote for the ZL1!

Go to a Nissan forum and ask the same question. Bet I can guess the winning vote on that end.

Bottom line is the views here will be biased. And can you be sure the pros and cons provided here match your own?

GTR is missing something... oh two more cylinders! Joking aside i'd get the ZL1, but I think we all here might be a little biased.

well, I mean, you are going to ask the camaro forum whether to buy a nissan or a chevy... Don't get me wrong, the right GTR is very quick, but I've outrun a few of them in my 5th gen zl1 with a cam, pulley and bolt ons... I know I know, probably wasn't their fastest model, BUT unless that's what you're buying... js
