When there are SEVERAL spots open, but someone needs to park right next to me, I find that downright odd and creepy. These are probably the same people that choose to sit in the stall right next to you even when all the others are vacant lol. I mean I get wanting to park your nice Mustang next to my nice Camaro and whatnot (I've done that) but I'm not talking those kind of scenarios

Same.

I will park near another Camaro or Mustang, etc but always at least 2 car spaces away. I know they arent going to door ding me and it just looks cool.

You should see what happens when idiots park close enough to me that I have to climb thru the passenger side of my car to get in....................

Same here. I will sometimes park next to someone that obviously cares about their car. That way I know they don't want to ding my car any more than they would want me to ding theirs. I usually park far enough to where nobody would want to park next to me.

On a funny note... Back when I used to have my bike, I would park it really close to anyone who double parked close to the building entrance. It forms a perfect motorcycle spot.

I admire people that can park nice cars in whatever spot they find; I just can't do it.

I was at a middle school soccer game the other day and an older lady that looked like my ex-MIL got into her $200K Lamborghini SUV with carbon brakes that was parked in a regular spot and didn't even bother straightening the wheels when she got out. I both admired her for not caring, but also rolled my eyes at the fact she would be just as well off in a Ford Explorer.
