Camaro Floor Mat Lettering

Does anyone have a tried and true method of getting the embroidered letters back to white? I've tried washing with Adams Mega Foam with a soft brush and then hosing off, Meguiars Upholstery cleaner, Adams all purpose cleaner and finally even a tiny amount of liquid Dawn. The letters don't seem come back to white.

I would use a small brush and Chemical Guys Lightning Fast Stain Remover if this were a customer of mine's car.

The next step would be to buy new ones and protect the new ones with a fabric protector like Chemical Guys Fabric Guard, 3D HD, Gyeon Q2, etc.

OP if your mats are the same (OEM) as my logo mats, the lettering is light grey, not snow white.

Soap and water.

Don't kill yourself trying to make something white that never was.

Mine are the same way, never were white, more of grayish color. I clean mine with some Woolite foam in can, clean mats and lettering. Look like they did when new. I also use my factory mats for roads trips or trips to the dealer when I know they will probably get real dirty, takes 2 seconds to swap out.

Yes, they are the OEM Logo mats. I always thought they were white for some reason. I can't believe I've been knocking myself out trying to get them white.

Now that you guys mention it, the RS Logo on the console lid is grayish also. I never put 2 and 2 together. Thanks guys!

I know you already pretty much got your answer. The letters are more of a silver then white. This is my second set of mats. I have 3 different ones I rotate. This set is new still in the box. Never has been I’m my car.

Thanks Steve. That's definitely the color I'm trying to get back to. Not exactly white but much brighter than my current mats. Thanks for your post.
