I am going to give it a try and see how it does. It a toss up from what I read in today's post.

I have noticed that the Mobil-1 M1-113A is slightly longer than the PF64 and a little heavier, but anywhos, I will stick with the M1-113A.

As my service advisor told me prior to the oil pump warranty replacement, "we were glad to see no tune revisions and a PF-64 oil filter in place".

The UPF64R has a higher by-pass valve pressure than the PF64. I believe it is 35PSI vs 22PSI. Fram just came out with thier version of it p/n XG12060.

I bought a Napa Gold oil filter yesterday #100290 that I am going to use next oil change for my ZL1. It has a small bypass in the bottom of the filter and I read it’s designed to use with synthetic oils.

I may pick one up and do a Blackstone oil analysis after the engine has a few more HPDE miles to see if there's anything significant between filter changes.

dont forget to do a particle analysis, that will tell you how the filter is doing.

Not really sure what you’re implying; if you remember unit conversions from school or know how to use www.google.com, it’s apples to apples.

In my case, the dealer I used for my two free oil changes used the UPF64R and claimed that change came from GM. I have the same concern with the oil pump that many of us do with early built 2017 models. I would think that if my oil pump fails the dealer that used those filters should cover the warranty.
After reading your statement I am torn between the filter to use on my next oil change.
