Mine (stock) pops so much my gf said it sounds like farts and is embarrassed to ride with me.

I never test drove the car, so my first time to drive it was when I was driving home. I had no idea it would pop and crackle like that, so it scared me a little thinking the back end of the car was falling apart.

My teenage son came home for the first time since leaving for the military, it was his first time to drive it as well, and when he left his face was sore from all the smiling and laughing!

Mine got tuned by PRAY after headers/TB/IM upgrades and catless and my table looks exactly like the first one and I get zero pop anymore. What else could have been adjusted to remove the pop. I dont want to change things if something else is working to counter it.

All this time I thought the pop'n was an acoustical design built into the muffler, rather than the traditional means of unburned fuel exploding in the exhaust pipes. Is this indeed the case?

So we just copy the first 3 lines on Minimum Spark Base and Long Term with the top 3 lines from each on the 19 tune? My 16 spark looked just like the first one you posted and I get no more pop after my tune. I did before though.

What I did was Highlight rows .12 to .24(maybe even .28) and hit the blend button all the way to the right(green and yellow above and below each other) once or twice. I have to pull it up to be sure but you’re just blending here.

I wish I knew what those graphs mean and what you guys are talking about?
I'll need to watch Goat Garage more and take some Tuning Sch online classes.
However, good to know it can be done!

lDejavul, if you want it to really pop, disable DFCO.

With the 19+ spark table and DFCO disabled, mine sounds like an MG42 on d-day.

I used to think the same way until I went to the Rolex 500 this past weekend in Daytona. Hearing 38 different race cars of different manufacturers and classes rip off three straight downshifts that have that same quote rich and retarded sound is an epic experience. You have every right to not like it but last weekend changed my mind.

I have a 2019 and coming from a 2016 that had more of a gurgling effect after my tune on the 2016.

The cracking and popping on my 2019 M6 puts a smile on my face.

Would these tables look the same for V6 models? Interesting in trying to mess around with the tables and try to get some pops on the V6.
