Pray had a customer with a Stock long block Hi-ram car in the 10.1-10.2 range. It was FBO and had quite a bit of weight reduction. I believe it picked up a couple tenths over a ported MSD.

Not that there's anything wrong with it, but I'll bet that is the only Hi-Ram in the world that's hooked to a stock airbox!

Agreed, caught me by surprise too! Intake is definitely badass looking though.

I’m not sure to be honest lol. I’m just trying to do something different and doing it in different steps than others. I did however smooth and dimple the airbox. We’ll see Sunday how it does on the dyno and then going to hit the track when they open.

Yea, I did see that. I’m also not very far with weight reduction. I’m at 3600 with me in it and 3/4 tank of gas and at 34xx without me in it and 3/4 tank.

I know Prays Pennywise car had a high ram with fbo and a ram air intake dyno around 530ish and ran something like a 10.3 on an m6 car no less. Stock heads and cam, I know it had a drag pack, no muffler, and seat deletes, but not any other weight reduction that I'm aware of.

There was a A8 car before him (Tony Moffre) that was completely gutted. I thought it went 10.1 or 10.2. I definitely don't think you need to take it that far.

Drag pack
race brakes
muffler delete
light battery
rear seat delete

This seems to be the standard WR mods that takes a good amount of weight out of the car without going too far.

Yea, but I’m also not a full bolt on car either. Also I’ve done all but the light battery and aerospace brakes up front. So we’ll just see how it does the way it sits and go from there. I’ve already got a cam sitting here once I see what it does the way it sits and with longtubes.

Nice, it actually looks good hooked up the way you have it done.

Yea, I’m not worried about my tuner not knowing what he’s doing. He’s the only one I trust to touch any of my cars. It goes on the dyno tomorrow, so we’ll see how it does then. I’m just curious to see how it does with the factory airbox and the rest of my setup. Not looking for anything spectacular because I don’t expect it out of what I’ve got done.

Well, put down 425rwhp on 93 and 450rwhp on E85. Pulls were done on the same dyno I had it one when it was stock and done in 5th gear all times. So dumped hooker x-pipe, with cat delete, hi-ram, 95mm throttle body, stock air box that’s been smoothed and dimpled, and e85.

Add a cam & heads then you will see high ram shine.
