E85 gains

Hey guys my current mods are CAI, E85, and Long tube headers with x pipe. My car dynoed at 415 Wheel Horsepower and 451 wheel torque on E40, and 394 WHP and 425 wheel torque On 91.

His dyno reads the lowest compared to all the other tuners in my area(only about 4-5). He told me that when I’m close to an empty gas tank, and fill up the car will E85 only, I should be expecting another 20 whp gain. Would that also increase the torque, and how much would I have gained when I fill up on full e85

Another 20 might be a reach, but not far off. You're realizing a good part of the gains by E40, and virtually all of the extra timing is in by E60-E65.

I think that is a good guess, but I guess we will find out.

My C7 A8 made 444 on E65, 1 7/8 long tubes and X Pipe. We didn't get an actual baseline since I bout ran it out of fuel getting to the shop. So we didn't have enough fuel in the car to do the base but I'm guessing it to be about the same as my Camaro at 395 when it was bone stock.

You may gain another 10-15 wheel. My car stock made 399rwhp in 5th gear on a mustang dyno. Then on the same dyno made 424rwhp with a 95mm hi-ram in 5th gear, on the same day it made 450rwhp on E(we ran it empty on the dyno). The 450rwhp was with stock exhaust manifolds and airbox. The car made 475rwhp after I put the longtubes on.

If the engine tune on 93 is dialed in, the most gains you will see is 25-30whp on full pump E85. 90% of the gains are usually had on E60, and 75% of the gains are had on E45-50.
