They flew off they didn't lock them down with a screw in front or the rear. The worse part we we're only doing 65MPH. In Iowa did 80 MPH in Wy. no problems. Hit Neb. on the way home doing 65MPH lost the other one. LOL sounds like a zipper going down. Seeing a truck run over hurts. Went to the Chevy dealer they took pics. and Said they forgot to screw them on 3M tape doesn't hold well. Grandson works 3M making the tape so he just laughed about it.

Visited it at the shop where it is hanging out with some first-gen cars... I am in the home stretch of my 2021 to 2018 "de-fresh" project!

That's looking great. I never actually considered that. I dont love the refreshed SS front end(headlights mainly), pushing me to a ZL1 in fact.

Hope the work comes out great.

changed my diff oil.
why does mine have the drain plug on the side of the diff?
plus it has cooler oil lines coming out of the diff.

seems because mine is an auto it's a different differential.
is that correct?
oil had done 9k miles and look good. little sludge in the magnets though. fresh mobil 1 oil in there now
