Here is the pdr... there is a cover or bezel so you do not see the wires. Looking for the part number or a cover.

I'm not sure if the First post has the complete list. But the PDF is pretty in depth

I was going over it but did not 100% finish.
I just updated the first post attachment with what I have, between that and the information in the thread there is all the information that is needed.

someone contacted me about a harness about a year ago but I lost my wiring harness documentation I made and re-tracing my steps to recreate it takes time I just dont have.
I did help someone with a corvette install a few months ago that worked out well.

This might be pointless since this thread has been dead for over a year but here goes anyway....

Slightly off topic for this thread but I figured it would be the most relevant place to ask this question seeing how a few of you guys have successfully added PRD to your cars. What I have in mind should be a much easier task in theory. Long story short the C8s and now the new Caddy CT4/5 Blackwings have the new and improved PDR with the 1080p camera and a few other improvements. I have a good feeling this would be a plug and play replacement for a 6th gen that was optioned with PDR and would like to get some input on if it's worth taking the plunge on buying the relevant parts. My idea would be to start with just the camera to see if that's all you need for the better resolution and then swap the recorder unit. I was unsure if the C8 unit would work on the Camaro since it's an all new platform and what not but since the Caddys also have it now I think it is plausible. Thoughts?

The new Cadillac uses the Global B architecture just like the C8. None of the CAN network messages will align correctly between the two platforms. Unless you have a CAN gateway or something to bridge the networks by translating messages, it basically has no chance of working.

That's not to say you couldn't possibly have success upgrading the camera or microphone in some way. The PDR module is going to have to match the Camaro though. Unfortunately, I highly doubt we see these PDR updates on Global A before the Camaro drives off into the sunset.

Well that's not promising, but maybe at the least the camera is transferable if it's of the same design, just seeing a diagram of it would probably be enough to tell, beyond that it's probably not doable at all.

The camera has a usb cable running to it and nothing else. I havent done so but you could hook a camera up to it and see if if records in the higher resolution.

I successfully installed PDR in my 2022 SS 1LE. This thread (thanks fellas!) and lots of schematic and parts research along with finding a used instrument panel harness and a used headliner harness made the install kinda easy. Both harness' provided the USB cables and some of the additional wiring and connectors that are needed. There is lots of details that come with an install like this so you really got to pay attention to what you are doing. White Auto and Media was able to add the PDR to my radio module. Their programming was a massive piece of the puzzle. Unlike the 17/18 installs, there is no HMI module. It's the radio module that takes care of everything. I also had to change my radio display. Word was that the 19 and up had a software/hardware change. Then there was another software change in 2021.

Most of the parts were purchased on Ebay.
-2018 ZL1 Camera with mounting bracket and cover
-2021 ZL1 Radio display
-2019 ZL1 PDR module with mounting bracket and extension harness

These were all from the same 2019 ZL1 that had PDR. Also from Ebay:
-Instrument Panel (dash) harness
-Headliner harness-contains a USB extension cable for the camera.
-Camera bracket mounting tabs. This car had a damaged windshield. I asked the seller to send me the chunk of the windshield that had the mounting tabs so I could have a reference point for proper alignment. They are black painted aluminum. I used that salvage chunk to make a pattern so I could locate the 3 tabs in the correct spot on my windshield. I also used this pattern to cut a piece of window tint. I applied this tint after the 3 tabs were cured to the windshield. The PDR windshields are blacked out where the camera bracket is located, but the non PDR cars only have the dot matrix there. So the window tint obscures the camera bracket and it is hard to see the three tabs and the bracket. This ended up turning out great. I used urethane windshield adhesive for the 3 tabs.

Bought new:
-GPS
-SD Card slot. I mounted this in the center console. As much as I prefer to make things right, mounting it in the OE position on the lower left corner of the dash is tough. For one thing, you cannot just remove that area of the dash to make the cut easy, and there is a small window of opportunity to get the prefect location. It's essentially a blind cut. It was not worth the aggravation to mount it there so I found a clean spot under the center console compartment.

Info sources that were invaluable:
-3 day subscription to AC Delco TDS for schematic and part diagrams
-A GM parts source that can give relevant part #s for your application. Before I purchased parts from Ebay I would ask for the VIN # so I could see what the relevant part #s/RPOs were and if they crossed over to my year. RPOs are the more import thing to look for. The only part I took a chance on that did not officially cross over to my 2022 was the radio display. I was desperate as the correct PDR optioned radio displays are being hoarded by GM for production purposes only.

The crew at WAMS had great, quick communications.

Wow. Nice work.

Out of curiosity - what did you do to automatic emergency braking camera? No need for additional coding or anything?

If you are referencing the forward collision avoidance camera, that is a different camera than the PDR one. My car is a 1SS and it did not come with the avoidance system.
