Upgraded paddle shifters?

Was wondering if anyone has tried to use a set of cts v or c8 paddle shifters on the Camaro wheel? Not the stick on add on but the actual shifter itself? Would be a nice upgrade if they are compatible.

I believe I read someplace that the C8s fit but it was just trading the stock red C8s for the black ones, they weren't bigger like you posted above.

That would be sweet, not a fan of the stick on one's that the reason my carbon wheel has the stock ones still.

Only one way to find out, I'm afraid The box with the electronics and the attachnment look the same at least. Whether or not it's electronically compatible, who knows.

I installed 2013-19 Cadillac ATS paddles. I remember reading that they are magnesium, but maybe they are aluminum. My bro-in-law purchased an ATS back then and I really liked the feel of the metal paddles. They stuck with me enough that when I just picked up my first Gen6 and I installed those Caddy paddles. Part #s 23133990/23133991.

They do not fit perfectly on the SS 1LE steering wheel as far as the contours of the plastic mounting to the steering wheel shape. It is hard to see the minor mismatch here just because the steering wheel itself hides it. But they work in my A10 SS 1LE , and they have a different click. It's a tighter, sharper "click".

One other negative is the volume and favorites buttons near the bottom of the steering wheel are obstructed a little bit because of the shape of the Caddy paddles. But the feel of the metal and the more refined click is worth it to me.

those ATS paddles look nice. does the wheel need to come off in order to install? i'm guessing the airbag does, at the very least.

The steering wheel does not need to come off, but the battery needs to be disconnected and the air bag needs removed. There are some videos on YouTube on how to remove the air bag. It is a bit tricky to disengage the sprung wire that holds it.

If I remember, I'll post a video of the difference in the "click" of the 1LE vs ATS paddles
