Yeah I don't understand how these dealers here are getting cars for inventory and we wait. When I tried ordering in June, the dealers I contacted told me I could not order yet. I waited until end of July when they told me ordering was opened back up for 22s.

The dealer Sherwood Chev, I ordered from has 2 ZL1s in transit and Northgate GM has a riverside blue vert in transit, who I also contacted back in June. I have been speaking to Northgate about the one they have, but it does not have a few of the options I ordered. Both dealers told me their inventory orders where placed after mine and it is sometimes the luck of the draw lol.

Seven months to be waiting is a long time. I hope you get some good news soon.

Hi All,

Just got an email from my sales manager, my car has arrived at the dealership.

From the jack cooper portal there were four other cars on the same truck as mine that left from grand rapid. Two vehicles went to New roads in Newmarket and were delivered before mine and two are going to Peterborough Jack McGee.

Hopefully some other folks will be getting a call from their dealership that their cars are in.

I'm starting to think I might order a ZLE from Joe and bring it across the border. Need to do a bit of research on this 1st. Has anyone done this b4?

you can't cross the border with a new vehicle to import it to Canada. Only used vehicle can be imported from the states.

You can buy state side and bring across. My good friend has done it three times with trucks.

If the dealer knows how to play the game they can get someone to drive it 100 miles and list it as used, they use to do it for snowmobiles. Not sure how close they (Border services) monitor it though and the exchange rate isn't great either

Even if you could do this, Canadian pricing is better than US pricing.

When did you order? I placed an order for a 2SS (GTA dealer) in March/re-ordered in late August but still haven’t heard anything about shipping (my car was built 10/18)

Got a reply from GM today i am at 3300 with TPW of 11/08 so hopefully it gets built this week

I ordered mid august. Car was built approx last week of October

I also ordered a 2SS. Convertible

Interesting. Wonder if your car was delivered sooner because of dealer allocations or convertible status. Mine also has stripes so could be bayed. Are you storing yours away for the winter?

Dealer allocation I think has a lot to do with the turn around, the sales manager I was dealing with was confident in getting allocation right away and he's always been straight up with me (I bought my C6 from him back in the day). Didn't get too many options just NPP, black appearance and black rims.

I'll most likely drive it back, maybe drive it for another week (although highs next week are single digit) and then park it till spring.

Guys, can I ask that anyone posting updates with regard to their order also mention the vehicle spec? SS, ZL1, 1LE etc. Makes your updates applicable to those waiting for different builds. Thanks
