A regular manual drive train is considered a 15% drivetrain loss, the wet clutch DCT in a 1 to 1 ratio , along with the drive shaft, differential, axles etc should be no different. The DCT trans and a regular manual trans all by themselves I do not believe takes more or less horsepower to spin in the 1 to 1 ratio than the other.

Yea the gt500 definately has a little more power. I did see a video where a manual zr1 made 3 pulls resulting in 664, 668, and 664 again. In the latest gt500 video it made 684 one pull and 659 in the other. I'd say that's fairly comparable to the m7 zr1 with the gt500 taking the edge as I acknowledged earlier.

Obviously the slushbox a8 zr1 puts down lower numbers.

As far as being underrated or overrated, idk seems like cars these days are losing less through the drivetrain or alot of them are a little underrated. Especially manual and dct cars. Shoot even lt1 cars are putting down anywhere from 405-425 stock on manual cars, way less than 15% loss there.

If you go by the 684 pull it only had like a 9% drivetrain loss, which is awesome. The 659 pull is definitely a bit closer to the universal 15% drivetrain loss figure.
