Long Wait For Car To Ship?
My LT1 was built in early January and has been at 4300 status since January 31. The original ETA at the dealer was February 6 then was changed to February 19, tomorrow. Is this a normal wait time for an ordered car to be shipped?
I’ve messaged my salesman this AM about it but haven’t yet received a reply from him. I feel this is just ridiculous. Any thoughts? |

I'm a lot further from Lansing than you are, but my car took nearly 3 months to arrive (got it a month ago). Dealer said there was a shortage of truck drivers to deliver cars. It wasn't fun waiting, but is what it is unfortunately.

Ask your sales person to activate Onstar, you can track it yourself. I watched mine go by my office on the way to the dealer.

It does suck to have to wait. Here in the great white north winter is still alive and well. So your not missing out on any good driving weather at this point. I usually shoot for late april to get mine back out.

I bought my car before it left the factory lot, once it was invoiced to the dealer. The myChevrolet app was activated, and I was alerted when the car was moved to the dealer.

Deposit made 12/10/21 with car "In Transit". ETA at that time was 2 weeks. Finally delivered to dealer in northern Alabama 2/2/22. Picked up 2/8/22. Worth the wait!

Although not a Camaro (I did order a custom 2SS from Becky in 2018 and received it in six weeks), my 2022 2500 HD has been at 4300 since last November...just sitting in the parking lot. Long time. Patience? Running out.
