As for "Fifty".... all 2017 Camaros have the word Fifty on the steering wheel to commemorate Camaro's 50th anniversary.

There is also a very specific 50th Anniversary Package
  • Nightfall Grey Metallic Finish
  • Orange Accent Stripes
  • Orange Brembo Brake Calipers with the word "FIFTY" on them
  • The word "FIFTY" on the fender badge, instead of the Camaro shield badge
  • The word "FIFTY" stitched into the front seat headrests
  • The word "FIFTY" stitched into the passenger side dash panel
  • The word "FIFTY" on the lighted sill plates instead of "CAMARO"
  • Very specific wheels. These wheels are now available as an option for 2018 Camaro, but the only way to get them in 2017 is with the H50 package. That is the RPO for the 50th Anniversary Package

Actually, if you look hard enough, the word "FIFTY" appears 17 times on the car. And I might be missing some.

Take a look at post #30 on page 3 of this thread for an excellent example of what a Fifty Convertible looks like. Shows the stripes, the wheels, the side badge, the front grille treatment and chin extension.

Great explanation. Beat me to it!

Great video! But yeah trying to remove the plate. Most common answer is to drop the hood latch. 13mm socket. Mark it. Remove it and the panel will come out. Maybe. I do need to pull the fascia for something else so might just remove the plate then.

I sent in a question in using the Contact Us link on the site. Also asked about what level of difficulty am I looking at. Hoping it's not too difficult. May need to finally invest in that mechanics tool kit I've been wanting for YEARS.

We'll see what answers I get.

I know replacing the shift boot/knob isn't difficult. But the actual shifter. Not sure. Would imagine have to pull center console area (where your arm rests).

Yeah, that I could deal with. Having to drop the transmission or something along those lines might do me in. I'd do that on something quite a bit older, but something this new......

So guys, today was/is the day. I got it it because she is so beautiful and he is a beast. Damn is he powerful. All the 300km from the dealer to home was raining ☔️ Which was not bad so I Overcome the temptation. did I mention that since I sign the contract I have a permanent smile in my face.😁
Pictures are coming tomorrow when I figured how to upload

And today also all the parts which I order from Rodgers Chevrolet arrived.
A very big thank you to Maureen and Becky from Rodgers for their assistance and patience and of course for the give-away articles.
Just received a brand new car and start rip it apart no no it's not that bad just the original 50th gille and the original splitter. The DRL's coming later. So enough for now more details to come.
To be continue.....

Did I mention that I have a 50th anniversary V8AT Coupé
