Dashcam Wiring Not Enough Power?

So I have a Vantrue T2 and the Gen5DIY radar kit with the optional leads added. For the past month I have been trying to get power to my dash cam and nothing is working. I tried wiring it in directly with the Gen5DIY kit; no power. I got the actual Vantrue hardwire kit with the converter built in, wired that to the Gen5DIY kit; no power. Visually inspected the Gen5DIY kit, it looks fine; I replaced the Vantrue kit with a new one and still cannot get power. If I use the OBD2 port, cigarette lighter port, or external battery they all give the dashcam power. Any suggestions? I think I would see something wrong if it was the Gen5DIY kit but I am at a complete loss.

I have a hard wire kit and want to tap it into the cigarette lighter wires.
How do you pull that center console to gain access without breaking stuff?
