REAR TOW HOOK DILEMMA SOLVED!
This only will work with a track tire trailer (or other) receiver. I had an adaptor fabbed up for a generic ZL1addons tow hook. Should do the trick if it is ever (hopefully never) needed.

Looks great. Question please
Great looking setup. I wonder what you or your fabrication shop would charge for just the hook/insert setup. Serious question first: Is that receiver as mounted certified to tow the weight of the Camaro. In other words is the part of the Camaro the receiver is attached to strong enough to tow the weight of the car without bending, crushing, shifting detaching etc? I had a Chevy hitch(not hidden) for my first gen 6. It was sold and installed by my Chevy Dealer as a bicycle carrier mount. If I knew for sure it could be mounted to the Camaro safely with a 3800 lb towing capacity I would have it installed on my 2017 Camaro.

The tow bar is mounted between the car frame and the rear crash bar.
As far as towing capacity is concerned, it is designed for towing a track tire trailer however I believe to will suffice to "Gently" be used to pull the car from a position to where it can then be accessed from the front for any sort of major recovery such as hauling onto a flat deck wrecker.

I paid about $100 to have the shop weld up the adaptor to fit the receiver and the ZL1ADDONS generic tow hook.
