Drove my camaro and video at idle

Got everything finally finished, well kinda. When I did light the fuse it wouldn't idle because the tune wasn't installed yet but man it sounds wicked I must say. Everything turned out good, I will get to drive it sometime this week, the weather is not good here in Missouri, rained 2 inches today so maybe by Tuesday I can get it out for a spin.

Gateway closed this weekend, if that happens I'll have to go south of Missouri. Next week looks cold and wet. Not so good right now.

Needs a lot of tuning, I have logged just the idle part and got a tune for that. Need to put the correct pulley to drive it tomorrow since the weather sucks here today. I'll keep you all up to date.

Which pulley are you going to run?

I swapped to the 80mm pulley for winter, but once you get your pulley setup, can you post which belt you are using. Inquiring minds want to know.

Kind of off topic to your new engine, but what is your impression of the gains of the NW TB? I know they are most beneficial to a PD SC, was thinking of adding that to my setup.

Shizzy I did stay as close to stock as I could, we had to go ten over on the bore because of the damage to number 1 and 8. I did install the Arp main studs and head bolts and the compression is down to 10.5 so we don't have to worry so much about having issues as we did with the higher compression. I'm switching to the 80mm pulley for break in and work down from there once I get some logging done. I'm also worried about the tranny having issues, didn't shift right on the last pass when it blew out the rear seal. I'm going to reflash the tranny again and see what that produces when I get a chance to drive it, maybe tomorrow depending on the weather. I think we gained 13 rwhp with the NW.

So I finally go to drive my Camaro for the first time since July. Dam I missed it and everything went just fine. Gotta get that exhaust fixed.

What’s up with the exhaust? Did you keep the cats? If so, be careful you don’t burn them up and blow another engine.

Cats are good, car drove good but need more tuning under heavy throttle, has a little stutter then just blows the tires off at 80 mph. I just have to have the cats welded to the connector pipes. Might have that done today at lunch
