Thanks. They look like they are poking out further than that offset.

pls Clarify
Just to be sure / need confirmation:
(I've read all of this thread but it isn't clear) If you go for Phastek Springs on a 2016/2017 Camaro WITH MRC can you expect a drop of 1.5 Inch all around? There has been a lot of discussion of this but NO ONE has clarified this yet. Is there any difference in drop for MRC and Non-MRC cars? And if so, is it due to that MRC cars sits lower from the beginning but both cars end up with the same ride-height at the end if you use the same springs? Also, should you or shouldn't adjust rods or pivoting links on the MRC measuring device? The Eibach;s supposedly lowers 1.1 Inch on a MRC equipped car (Lethal partly confirmed this) I do believe the Camaro really needs the 1.5 drop though as those fender gaps are horrendous so preferably Phastek if drop is confirmed.

Not sure but I am about to find out, these springs are about to hit my doorstep. BMR suggests "clocking" the suspension. Just got an email back from them stating to loosen all the rear suspension links on both ends to let the rear settle, then re-torque. Local alignment shop says they will take care of that for me during the $89 four wheel alignment.

I have tested our springs and know they fit with MRC struts but we have not put them on a car to see what kind of drop we would get. So, I guess to answer the question, "Will they fit?"....... YES, they will fit, just not sure what kind of drop you will get. I would say that you will be very close to the 1.5" drop like on the Non-MRC cars. As for adjusting the rods, not sure since we have not put the springs on a car yet. We have put BMR and Eibach on MRC cars with out any issues, but their springs are only 1". I hope this helps ya! |
