Mspeed,

Thank you so much for taking the time to post your trailering adventure! The only question I have after reading the whole thread is, what was the bolt pattern for the trailer hubs? I doubt that it would be the case, but would be amazing if you could specify a 5x120 setup so that say a winter set of tires could be used on the trailer.

5 x 4.5
I had to use a 2" 5x4.5 x 5x4.5 wheel adaptor to fit the SSR rims.

so essentially any wheel that will fit a late model mustang, given the correct offset... I will never get away from the mustang stuff

Just tell yourself that the Ford stuff is getting towed by a Chevy and you'll be fine

That's funny Norm, and Happy Holiday's! I put 17x7 215/65/17's on my Mercury Villager as they would fit the Nissan Quest looking Villager. My neighbor's were amazed, ha.

Finally did a 200 mile round trip maiden voyage with the trailer. Didn't even know it was there without looking in the side mirrors! LOL!

Success... Well done for your situation. Lots more trips to come I'm sure with that tow vehicle biting at the bit

Looks great! Having towed for years (and years), the amount of increasing and increasingly distracted drivers running into my trailer is the main worry now. I’m looking into one of these, too, but think I might go overboard on the trailer lighting just to give those distracted a bit more chance to see it especially at night.

Can you take a night shot or two with the trailer lights on? Thanks.

I'll try to remember next time I have it hooked up and stay awake late enough! 🤣

I have their mid-tier trailer, and I have had the same success as the OP. I travel about 500 miles round trip to DEs (4 total so far), and it tows very well. Don’t know about OP but I have hard backing it up because I can’t see it very well.

You can get five if you put one in the front seat!

Towed last weekend for the first time in a long time (enclosed trailer). I have TPMS sensors with pressure and temperature readouts on all six tires (four on trailer plus two spares). Dill makes the set up for up to ten or twelve tires, and it uses bolt in OEM style sensors with an antenna built into each [versus screwing onto the end of a rubber pull through valve stem]. It has a small backlit display. Probably have versions that work on your phone. You might check into one for your tire trailers. Nice piece of mind. Won't help obviously with a sudden delamination type tire failure on the trailer.
