Fore Innovations Dual intank pump

I am curious why nobody is running this setup? It seems the popular trend right now is drilling the tank and adding a AUX pump system, but this seems like a really good setup and drops in the tank like factory.-. I talked to a local shop today and they use them a lot with E85 DI cars. The website doesn't show 6th gen setups yet but they can build them. C7 Vettes have triple pump options for setups over 1400 whp. I am getting a quote on one here soon.

I like it, but all in it would be $1700 for me, I like the SMG for $800, but they seem to have fallen off the earth, so I went with DSX, which I know makes quality stuff, I have their flex fuel... aircraft quality...

Drilling and taping the tank is nothing new, it was done to my vett years ago. Fore makes some amazing pumps but , I could build about 3 systems with other types of pumps for the cost of one Fore. If you’re using a crazy amount of fuel look at a Weldon , they have an electric that will flow enough to support 2k on methanol. It’s huge but flows 7 gallons a min at 80-100 psi haha. They have smaller ones too. Also I doubt it’s 1400 in a boosted app, they flow well at their base pressure and fall off rapidly over 60 psi.

See I thought this was totally overkill for what I am looking to do. I just want enough low side fuel for a measly 8-10psi on E. Everybody I have talked too aside from Jenetty seems to think you need HD low side if you are going to run E85. I wanted to just do a ZL1 in-tank and pump booster or DSX/SMG low side, but 3 out of 4 shops I have talked to said it's not enough or will be really close. 2 of the 4 don't like tapping the tank. I refuse to run 93 when I have E85 for 2.00 a gallon at my back door and it's always dead on E78.

First world problems I guess... Thanks for the input.

Everyone will have their idea of what works, just go with someone’s idea that is proven and does a lot of work on builds similar to yours. Jannetty Has been around for a while and is a wealth of knowledge. The DSX kit is tested and proven, Dave is a perfectionist to say the least and has great customer service. I have called him to pick his brain on a few issues over the years and he has some of the best customer service. Have you thought about diluting the E85 to 40-50% ? That might get you to your goal. At 8-10 psi I doubt you’re going to see a significant hp increase from the 78% to 40-50 ish.

No issues at all if I have to mix it, just would be nice if I didn't have to. My local filling station even has E20 for 2.19 a gallon but I am not sure if that is enough E content.

I am more then likely just going to do LT4 injectors, LPE big bore, and ZL1 low w/booster. The Fore setup looks pretty trick though and would provide a lot of room for growth. It is pretty dang pricey but what isnt for these cars.

My thoughts too, I did the DSX... I'm worried about blowing up too, figure the oldlady will collect insurance... Then her new boy friend can drive a new C7 all smiles...

I'm going to be looking pretty soon, especially after I get my 2650 in a few months. I may look at that system.

I really am curious why no one's come out with an affordable drop-in double pumper system. The market is surely there.

The price of that fore system is approaching that of surge tank setups lol

The booster works, but it's a hack solution..
I'd sooner create my own dual hanger, or run 1 large walbro.

Yeah I was quoted 4800.00 for the Fore system and installation. I passed on that...if I need more fuel, I'll add a SMG aux setup on top of the ZL1 intank and jms booster.

The booster isn't a hack solution at all. It's to address the voltage fluctuation that these cars have. The Intank pump voltage fluctuates between 12.5-14 volts randomly. The voltage booster is used to maintain a consistent 14.5 volts, but also can be used to over drive the pump. Jenetty has a documented video on this.

We just installed a dual 450 l/hr in-tank pump system from Lingenfelter into our TVS2650 Camaro. It just dropped right in (with a bit of additional wiring) and has a -8AN pump output. Got it strapped to the dyno tonight and hope to make pulls tomorrow to see if it's up to the task of 1100+ RWHP.

Its the same low pressure fuel system that Lingenfelter is using in their 800RWHP ZL1 and I believe that it is available from them now.

Thanks Mike, looks like a serious kit for sure and looking forward to the results. Might have to get one of those

THEY ARE... I was told they tried an AUX pump and it couldn't keep up so they went with an intank setup..

850 with no meth is pretty bad ass.. there blue car made 930 on e85 no meth with room to grow..

I have the following mods under the Christmas Tree!

NW Blk 103mm
Edelbrock 2650
Lingenfelter Hi side Gen 2 pump
Trying to decide on the lower!

For one thing the Aux installs a lot easier

I have a question pros and cons of an Aux pump ran on fuel module or hobbs/vacuum?

DSX vs Skidmark's basically
